Your application

What we look for

We want to get to know you as an individual, and really understand what you can bring to our firm. So throughout our recruitment process we’ll be looking at your level of commercial awareness, as well as your communication skills, drive, and motivation. Of course, we’ll also be deeply interested in your intellect, your ability to work well with others, and your attention to detail.

How to apply

We begin accepting applications for our U.S. Summer Associate Program in early June. The application period typically runs through mid-September. You can apply online here. As part of your application, you’ll need to provide a cover letter, resume and a copy of your law school transcript. For any other enquiries, please contact our Recruitment Department in New York. But please do not email your application to this address. Applications are only accepted through our online portal.

Who is eligible

The U.S. Summer Associate Program is open to second-year U.S. law students. Hiring for the global program is centralized out of our New York office; whichever office you want to join, you should submit your application via our online portal. Please note: If you’re pursuing a U.S. LL.M. degree or law degree in a jurisdiction outside the U.S., you are not eligible to participate in this program. However, we offer a range of opportunities elsewhere. To find your ideal role, please click here and select the office in your home jurisdiction.
