I joined Linklaters as a summer associate in the New York office and re-joined the Firm as an associate in 2020. After spending time in the general practice pool, I am a Corporate associate in the New York office.

Linklaters is unique among law firms because of how integrated our offices across the world are, which allows us to work together seamlessly and provide excellent service to our clients. In nearly all the deal teams I have been on, I have worked closely with our offices in Europe and Asia, which makes the work day exciting. Cross-border deals not only involve novel legal issues, they also require coordination and teamwork across continents, offices, and practice groups. Linklaters masters this integration well.

The culture at Linklaters is friendly, respectful, and social. I have made many friends among the colleagues I work with. There is also an emphasis on training and ensuring that everyone develops their skills, experience, and careers. This creates a collegial and supportive work atmosphere where I receive lots of guidance on the projects I work on for clients.

In many of the deals and pro bono cases I have worked on, I have experienced first-hand the positive impact that we can make on our clients as a result of our “one team” mindset and the hard work that we put in together. One of my first deals as a new associate was advising a renewable energy company on the sale of their distributed solar platform to a renewable energy investor. This has already resulted in further developments in the renewable energy sector. It was a highlight for me to work on such a cutting edge and impactful transaction.
