Our opportunities

Training built around you

A changing world calls for an agile approach to training, and our Training Contract model is unique among Russian law firms.

Join us as a Trainee* and you’ll get to work on live, high-profile projects, with the influence to make a genuine impact. At the same time, you’ll benefit from a bespoke scheme that’s built around your abilities. Using our Linklaters skills map, we objectively match your strengths to business needs. Rather than set fixed timelines in our teams, we’re flexible to ensure your time is well spent. You’ll be working across disciplines throughout, not in fixed practice areas. Because at Linklaters, we’re investing in developing the lawyers of the future. It’s why our training should equip you to enjoy a long and fruitful career with us.

Our training is also designed to help you get ahead quickly. Aimed at Master’s level students, the programme runs between 12 and 18 months – depending on what works for you – helping you qualify as soon as you're ready.

On the way, a dedicated team of mentors will be on hand to help, and guide your progress. With regular review meetings and ongoing feedback, you’ll be able to grow at pace. Your on-the-job development will be supported by our comprehensive training programme, providing a foundation in theory and the practical application of law. And you’ll have plenty of opportunities for professional (and personal) collaboration through our global network.

Of course, joining a firm is a two-way process, and we’ll look to you to demonstrate your maturity and take responsibility for your own development – in return we’ll give you the very best platform to start your career.

Internships

For Bachelor Degree level graduates, we also offer two to four-month internships*. These provide an ideal way to get insight into the firm during your studies, to help you appreciate how to develop, and also, if we’re right for you.

*this opening is addressed to law students and recent graduates of law faculties of duly accredited Russian universities
