With this mindset, we are proud to share an insight into what it's like to work at Linklaters through a number of virtual programmes on Forage – many of which are the first of its kind. Throughout these programmes, you’ll get to sample the cutting-edge work our trainees and lawyers do every day. You’ll also get to build legal skills and better understand what a career at Linklaters, both in the UK and globally, offers.
Our programmes are free and open to all, regardless of your degree, background, location or university. Once you’ve completed a programme, you’ll be able to download a completion certificate and add this to your CV or LinkedIn!
The first Linklaters programme launched on Forage and we were also the first firm in the UK to create a programme on the platform. Aimed at university students and beyond, the 7 modules take you through the lifecycle of a typical deal at Linklaters.
- Throughout the modules, you’ll help pitch for work, project manage, conduct legal research, learn about AI and fee management.
- It will take roughly 5-6 hours to complete.

Interested in experiencing life as a trainee at Linklaters in Hong Kong? Aimed at university students and beyond, the 7 modules take you through the lifecycle of a typical deal at Linklaters.

Interested in experiencing life as a trainee at Linklaters in the Middle East? We are the first firm in the region to launch an online learning experience programme on Forage for students and career-changers from any university or background.
- Throughout the 7 modules, you’ll develop key legal skills such as reviewing an NDA, drafting a Facility Agreement, advising a client on a Sukuk structuring and even using your bilingual skills to translate key provisions from English to Arabic. (Please note the last task is a bonus task for those who are fluent in Arabic).
- The programme will take roughly 8-10 hours to complete.

Are you starting to explore your career options and interested in finding out more about the world of commercial law? During our Introduction to Law programme, you’ll be joining as if you were a Linklaters trainee and starting a Training Contract with us.
- You’ll get an insight into the structure of our Training Contract, experience our core practice areas (Banking, Corporate and Dispute Resolution), learn about our pro bono work and get to experience the training on offer to our trainees.
- The programme is open to all students but has been designed for 16-18 year olds and those at the very beginning of their research into commercial law.
- The programme will take approximately 5 hours to complete.

This virtual Internship programme provides an insight into the day-to-day workings of different business teams. At Linklaters, our business teams provide a broad range of critical services to the firm. The collective goal of business teams is to support our lawyers in delivering a best-in-class service to our clients.
- The programme is accessible online and will take you through a selection of modules to provide an understanding of the different functions and the work that they entail.
- Consisting of 5 modules, you’ll have the opportunity to virtually experience working in our business team functions: Marketing, Finance, Legal Operations, Technology & HR.
- It will take 6-10 hours to complete 3 modules to receive your completion certificate
